Vision Camp has been conducted in conjunction with Knox County Schools Vision Program since 2000. The program involves over 35 students from grades 1-12 who are blind or have a significant visual impairment. About 50 University of Tennessee students work one-on-one with the campers and lead activities throughout the weekend. Two vision specialists from Knox County Schools recruit and select students to attend. They along with a UT sorority help raise and secure funding for the program. The UT students organize and conduct the weekend program. Vision Camp is held during March every year.
